Ecological Products

Ecology is a general name given to the elements of nature, especially living things. In other words, the concept of ecology is a comprehensive concept that includes humans, animals, plants, mountains, in short, all kinds of nature in its pure form. Recently, especially with the sale of packaged products, there is a significant increase in the occurrence of cancer worldwide.

The most important factor of this is the additives that are used in order to keep the foods longer or to have different flavors with the developing technology. If we compare the production amount of this kind of food with the amount of ecological products, it is a bitter fact that approximately 99 of the produced products consist of foods containing additives and harmful to human health.

What are Ecological Products?

Ecological products are products that do not harm the environment and human health both during the production and consumption stages. For example, although most of the ready-to-sell eggs, butter, and cheeses sold in the majority of the markets are actually natural products of animal origin, natural products may also be harmful to human health as a result of the additives added to these products for shelving for longer periods of time. In order for a product to be included in the ecological product class, it is necessary to produce this product both naturally and without harm to human health. If healthy products are processed by natural methods and protected by natural means by humans, we can include these products in ecological class.

Where Are Ecological Products Available?

With the increase in industry and establishment in our country, the possibility of finding ecological products in urban environments or central places is almost negligible. Therefore, all products sold under the “Natural Product” label should be approached in a skeptical manner. In general, most of the products produced by people living in rural areas and villages are ecological, that is, natural products. Foods of animal origin, especially of vegetable origin, are produced and processed by the peasants. These products are ecological products and there is no harm to human health. However, if the animals used in the production of products of animal origin are fed with prepared feeds and not with natural grass, these products are not considered ecological enough.

Are Ecological Products Only Food?

Ecological products are not just consumed foods or drinks. Products that do not harm the environment are also in the category of ecological products. For example, most of the shoes produced in our country are produced by using synthetic materials. However, a shoe brand in the United States has started mass production of all wool-containing shoes. These shoes both increase the feeling of comfort while standing and the natural material is produced with wool does not harm the environment.

The use of nylon bags, which has occupied our agenda for a long time as a country, is also a serious harm to the environment. With the new law, it is encouraged to use paper bags or nets instead of nylon bags that do not disappear for long periods in nature and which are harmful to the environment and the health of humans and animals. Such paper bags are both recyclable and can disappear in a much shorter time in nature. That's why we can include the paper bag in the ecological class.

In addition to all of these, products that we can use for longer periods instead of disposable products are ecological products. For example, because it is practical and inexpensive in daily life, preferred pet cups take a long time to dissolve in nature, and during this process, they harm both the environment and the animals due to the chemicals it contains. Instead, you can contribute to ecological balance by using plastic cups that you can reuse at any time.
