Ecological Developments

Ecological developments in national and international channels are promising in terms of resolving the crisis.

Ecological Developments in Turkey

Trainings on ecological sensitivity, energy efficiency and the use and development of alternative energy sources are provided in the Ecological Building and Ecological Workshops organized by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality in 2014. 45 workshops, which bring together thousands of people with different 45 workshops, make their name in the children's theater. The Semester Workshops are intended to serve 12 months.

1 As a result of the law enacted on January 2019, the use of bags made of durable plastic was charged. The bags that are planned to be discontinued will be sold for a short period of time to settle and improve the application. It is planned to prevent the plastic bags that are decided to be paid 25 penny per bag and cause long time pollution without dissolving in nature.

The data shared in the İZTO report shows that the average amount of electronic waste is 530 thousand tons. Only 300 thousand tons of waste, which mainly consists of telecommunication and IT products, electronic cables and charging materials, are recycled. The projects are being developed as a result of low recycling rates despite the pollution of soil and water resources, exposure to heavy metal accumulation and air pollution. The Toplio mobile application, produced as a social enterprise project, has taken a major step towards the collection and recovery of electronic waste.

The utilization rate of solar energy in the world is gradually increasing. Turkey is striving to demonstrate compliance with this condition. Among the various experiments available, Istanbul Technical University has attracted attention. Transportation costs are reduced to a minimum Aruna 500 km for 5 TL costs. Solar powered vehicle does not cause any harm to nature. It is expected to raise awareness in our country with the use of solar energy, which is not a basis for strategic use. Major developments are planned as a result of the fact that environmentally friendly vehicle production is domestic and incentive policies are formed by the required positions.

30 320 is located at a thousand meters and has a day heat (solar energy system) system with a kWp power. Hotel Kudadoo, believed to be able to pay off after 5 year, is committed to sustainable ecological principles. The hotel's energy saving rates are quite high, making maximum use of daylight between the panels. The facility, which is produced with the use of nature and environment friendly materials, has all the features of passive house. With its eco cooling system, handmade furniture and unique view, it has managed to raise awareness even though it is a costly hotel.

Trained in Germany with French brand and the world's first hydrogen mobilization train was experienced. In terms of the mechanism, it produces electricity in the fuel cell by hydrogen and oxygen partnership and stores the electrical energy.

The 81 train has a value of zero million euros in terms of sound pollution and carbon emissions. It is planned to increase the number of trains capable of carrying 300 people.

In the light of these and many developments, it is clear from the explanations of the IPCC report that sufficient levels have not yet been reached. It has been determined that the parties to the Paris Treaty have exceeded the targeted 1,5 degree of global warming and that there is a need for radical structures in the transportation, food, energy and industrial sectors. The unreachable goal, ultimately, the increase in global warming, turns natural events into disasters and accelerates ecological destruction except for material and spiritual losses.

Carbon emissions and greenhouse gas emissions should be brought closer to zero level and eliminated, the use of fossil fuels should be terminated, and the use of inexhaustible alternative sources such as wave, wind and sun should be expanded. It is planned to collect and eliminate the emissions that cause air pollution and accumulation in the atmosphere by developing capture technologies.
